Title: ...he intends to Commence Business as an Architect, in Market Street, (Mr. Kinnear's House,) Brechin, on the First of May...
Description: Montrose, April, 1860. Handbill, 175 x 115 mm. old rust stain. This item may have at some time been mounted and will bear traces on the reverse of adhesive or removal of mounts. Little is known of William Fettis [c. 1835 - 1911], although this notice does correct an entry in the Dictionary of Scottish Architects which suggest that his practice in Brechin began in 1859> he trained under James Matthews of Aberdeen.
