Description: 1708. Printed and manuscript single sheet, folio. Piece cut from right hand side. This item may have at some time been mounted and will bear traces on the reverse of adhesive or removal of mounts. Marked "Bank 428." An interesting document, the reverse bearing a manuscript transfer of the sum "to the Governor & Comp of the Bank of England", with various affidavits regarding transfer and repayment of the sum signed variously by Lord Halifax, Hawes[?], Lord Godolphin, and receipted for payment on full by Gilbert Heathcote, Governor of the Bank of England, 23rd Nov 1709.
