Description: c. 1850. Signature on a piece of linen-backed paper, 130 x 195 mm. A pencil note on the reverse has the date 1850. This item may have at some time been mounted and will bear traces on the reverse of adhesive or removal of mounts. Presumably to Baron von Bunsen, Prussian Ambassador to the Court of St. James from 1841 - 54.
