A useful display of income and expenditure for the schools showing 204 pupils on the books at that time> the joint teachers, Mr. & Mrs May, were paid £1 per week between them, the assistant teacher, Miss Bancroft, 9s 7d. John Turner Colman Fawcett [1811 - 1867?] was curate at Bethnal Green for a only brief time before moving to Kildwick in 1843.
