Description: c. 1825. Early nineteenth century correspondence folder in red calf with gold filigree designs, embroidered silk inners. Most of the silk ties are defective, only 3 retaining the gold tassels. 355 x 220 mm. Obviously produced for a higher class of person, possibly for a gentleman's country or town house.
