A detailed advertising broadsheet setting out the terms of enrolment [2 shillings a day], provision of arms and uniform, days of exercise, etc. The various Yeomanry Cavalry were raised as a result of an Act of Parliament for the defence of the realm during the Napoleonic Wars. The East Riding Yeomanry Cavalry was disbanded in 1801> reformed in 1803 as the Grimston Yeomanry Cavalry and disbanded again in 1814. It reformed again in 1902 as the East Riding Yeomanry.
