Description: The Strand Theatre, printed by Helyer, Greewich, 1842. Single sheet, 570 x 220 mm, a few minor creases and chips not affecting the text. Mr Jacobs appears to be a master of his profession with a very wide range of tricks and voices. The French equilibrist M. Rousseau, is not, alas, the philosopher Jean-Jacques, who was in fact Swiss, and who died over 60 years previously.
