Circa 2,000 pages, illustrated throughout, some steel plates, full page and text engravings. Bound in original publishers half calf, calf corners, marble boards, raised bands, gilt design, full marble edges and endpapers. Calf rubbed on edges and corners, marble boards rubbed with some loss of pattern. Generally bindings in very good firm condition. Internally, occasional fox spotting or browning. Pages and illustrations in very good clean condition. A nice informative set. Very Good.
