Description: Dublin, Printed By S. Powell. 1732. Full Calf, 12mo. Book measures 17.5x10.cm. xvi-385pp, [20]pp index, 2pp, sacred to the memory of Samuel Butler, 17 plates including frontis. Bound in period tree calf, raised bands, gilt tooling. At some time, [ not recently ], corners of boards have been repaired, some scuffing and abrasion wear, head of spine chipped, rubbed. Generally a nice binding. Internally, a few plates have minor crease marks, 1 plates lacking part of margin, not affecting engraved area. Pages and plates in good clean condition. A nice copy, in an attractive period binding. Near Very Good.
