Bound in quater calf, cloth boards, gilt lettering, full gilt edges. Leather rubbed, scuffed, abrasion wear, bumped on corners, library number on spines. Both bindings in good solid condition. Internally, library stamps, labels on endpapers, library stamps on verso of title pages, [ can't see any other stamps, but might be the odd one or two ]. A few pages nicked on edges,some light spotting, offsetting to plates, heavy to some. Generally, pages and plates in good clean condition. A good set, in good solid bindings. Good Plus.
