Description: London 1951 xii, 272pp, illustrated throughout 27x21, blue cloth over boards with illustrated labels pasted over front and back, no spine text, card section markers bound in Spine sunned, edges rather rubbed, couple of visible bumps on bottom edge, contents good. Brown Brothers started life making cycles, before expanding to motorcycles and accessories for cars. This catalogue includes a wide range of domestic appliances, including a version of the famous Goblin Teasmade which featured an ashtray instead of a the teapot and kettle. Apparently the ashtray had a switch with which to operate the alarm and lamp; what the benefit of this isn't wholly clear!
