Description: London, Darton and Co 1852 64pp, line drawings 18x14, blue cloth, glt lettering, blind stamp decoration Cloth rubbed and faded, spine heavily sunned, ffep clipped (to remove a former owner name?), fair thus. A children's book based on the Great Exhibition. The publishers are keen to imply that the author was Sherwood, the hugely prolific writer of children's books, but as she had died in September 1851 it is quite possible that she wasn't the author. The illustrations are attractive, the text unremarkable.
