Description: London, 1896. Vol 1 560pp, vol 2 576pp, lavishly illustrated with drawings, diagrams, pictures, plans (a couple fold out) etc. 32x24, red cloth binding, all edges marbled. A few shelf marks to the binding, cloth splitting for a couple of inches on spine of vol 1, a neat stamp on the fep, some foxing on a few pages, but otherwise very good. Produced to rival Architectural Review, this journal soon became defunct, but is a good late Victorian source. Lots of very attractive drawings and plans, on very good quality paper. Scarce. [Very heavy item, may require additional postage.]
