Description: Belfast, Ropeworks 1938 10 sheets (6 double-sided calendar sheets, 4 adverts and reminders to order products). 12x16, gilt on red imitation leather finish card, sheets inserted in slot and visible through window. Slight rubbing to edges and corners, very good thus. Very attractively presented promotional piece. The gilt pattern outlines the Bluebell that was the trademark of the company's leading product. The company was still the largest ropemaker in the world at this point, but decline had begun to set in and would continue after WWII.
