This book has been illustrated throughout with monotone photographs. The book starts with a history of the discovery of California, then offers hints on how to reach California by rail then covers most of the interesting districts of the San Francisco Bay region before covering other regions of the state including Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, The Redwood "Empire", Mt. Shasta & Lassen, and more. The end of the booklet discusses times of year to come, and gives information on approximate costs for driving (via auto) and rail. Also includes approximate prices for visits to certain areas away from San Francisco.. Very Good .
