The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is a slight slant to the spine of the book and some light edge wear and rubbing to the spine ends and corners. The text pages are clean and bright. The front endpaper includes a previous owner's inked gift notation. The edges of the text block has some ground-in dirt and a couple of noticeable spots of dripped dirt to the foredge. "The boys at the Brooklyn public school which he attended did not know what the "T" stood for. He would never tell them. All he said in reply to the question was: It don't stand for nothin'."
