The front cover has a chromolithographed pastedown illustration of Little Red Riding Hood. The edges of the pictorial pastedown are nicked and there are spots of rubbing , especially toward the edges. The rear cover has wear, spots of noticeable rubbing and ground-in dirt. The text pages are generally clean, though there are spots of foxing and ground-in dirt. The front inner hinge has cracking at the bottom edge (about an inch worth). There is a previous owner's penciled gift notation (dated '78) on the front endpaper. The rear endpaper has some toning / tidemarking to the hinges. Included are the stories: Story of the Five Little Pigs, Silver Locks and the Bears, Jack and the Bean-Stalk, Little Red Riding-Hood, Cinderella, Puss In Boots, Dick Whittington and his Cat, Dream of Pussie Willow, Tony, Camping Out, Dame Spider, Hickory Dickory Dock, Dame Fidget and Her Silver Penny, and, Foolish Bobolink..
