The maps and plans are: A Geological Map of the Estuary of the Thames prepared for Joseph Prestwich for the Referees of the Main Drainage of the Metropolis, on paper size 95 by 32 cm. hand-coloured and with a colour-coded key, lithographed by Day. Shows the lower Thames from Bermondsey to the sea; a Proposed Outfall Map of the Thames, size 95 by 32 cm. Uncoloured. Actual map size 70 by 32 cm. with the remainder showing 8 sections; a plan with the title Main Drainage Metropolis, with Longitudinal and Cross Sections of the Main Outfall Channels North and South of the Thames, plus four more large folding plans. Clear archival tape repairs to the reverse of a couple of folds. VG condition. Images available. Very Good.
