An early biology or nature book intended for the education and improvement of the young that focuses on the lives of the ant and the bee. It takes the form of a series of questions posed by the fictitious Letitia and the responses of the narrator. The front endpaper has a dedication in ink dated 1827. The corners are scuffed and the edges of the boards chipped. Some foxing to text but binding sound and overall Good condition. Images available. Good.
