In stiff marbled boards with a gold-stamped title and bands to a leather spine. Size 14.5 by 11 cm. Contains 87 maps uncoloured and with no text to the reverse. Some of the maps are double-page or folding including the world map the planisphere and maps of Oceania Africa North America and Asia. The atlas also contains maps of the Chinese and Japanese Empires China Melanesia- with much of Australia uncharted the eastern United States Haiti the Empire of Brazil and India. Uncoloured. Pages have had partial exposure to damp in the past but this has had minimal effect on the condition of the maps. Overall Good condition. Images available.
