On folding linen in 30 sections size 79 by 67 cm. Scale approximately 15 miles to the inch. A detailed map with some hand-colouring which shows railways completed and railways in progress. Folds into stiff boards with marbled endpapers. Some pin holes outside the margins would seem to indicate the map was once used as a wall chart. Folds into stiff cloth-covered boards with title gold-stamped to the front as Cruchley's Tourist Map of England with the Railways. One fold has been partly strengthened to the reverse with linen tape. Map VG condition boards rubbed to head and foot of spine but otherwise VG. Images available.
