A key provides information on turnpike and cross roads rail roads and projected rail roads navigable canals cities market towns boroughs parliamentary representation etc. The inside of the front board has a second more detailed key to railways completed in progress and projected plus information on the various companies the length of their lines and estimated cost. To the reverse is pasted a table showing the distances between the principal towns of England and Wales. Map in VG condition. Folds into stiff original cloth-covered boards. These are frayed to the spine and the label is rather tired. Images available.
