Cassini's large map with the addition of the adjacent countries from the latest surveys drawn and published by Faden London 1806. On folding linen in 48 sections size 48 by 47 inches folding to the original six by eight and a half inch slipcase. Scales shown in French leagues and English miles 15 miles to the inch. Contemporary hand-colouring. The title appears in a decorative cartouche. Includes an inset map of Corsica. The adjacent countries referred to in the title appear only in part as they border France though France is shown as including Belgium much of the Rhineland and part of today's north-west Italy. Minor offsetting to sea area beneath the cartouche otherwise VG condition. Folds into outer wrapper then into Good marbled slipcase which has rubbing to the edges. Images available.
