Originally published by Colonel Mudge for the Ordnance Survey at the Tower of London: this is a later edition including the railways published in the late 1860s and printed from an electrotype taken in 1866. Scale one inch to the mile. On folding linen in 24 sections size 95 by 65 cm. With most of Surrey east of a line from Croydon down through Horley: thus Reigate Dorking Guildford Farnham and Godalming are all included along with most of the North Downs and the south of the county. Some hand-colouring and with heights shaded or indicated by hachuring. A piano-key style border surrounds the map. Small holes in each corner of the border but otherwise VG condition.
