[xxiii,192p, several plates with tissues & illustrations] Blue leather over padded hardboards with gold lettering on slightly faded spine & gold lettering & emblem on front cover, corners worn but not through leather, white library catalogue number & clear acrylic spray on spine, blue finish of upper corner of front cover leather missing due to removal of library bar code sticker leaving parts of "JE" of "JEANNE" missing, page edges dusted & untrimmed, end papers very good though cracked front hinge repaired using pva, library stamp in upper corner of front free end, & back pocket, text pages & illustrations very good, thus a very good copy except for defects to spine & front cover. This copy is signed on half-title page under stamp indicating copy no. 138 by Sister Helen Morrisey of the Hotel-Dieu, Montreal, and author of the Forward on page xi, with her inscription on front flyleaf reading, "To Reverend W.G. Goodrow, A rembembrance of Old Montreal. -- From Sister Morrisey. February, 1934," plus printed review of book from Montreal Good
