Backstrip cracked, with small hole at top end and leather chipped at bottom end; inking and penciling on free endpapers; dampstains and browning at margins of first and rear pages, with faint dampstain at bottom margin of many pages; spotted soiling on p. 392-3, affecting a few lines of text; otherwise a very good copy of a nineteenth century hymnal. 534p. plus appendix, epistles and catechism. .
