New York: A. J. Johnson, 1866. Beautiful map oof Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, & West Virginia in very good condition. There is slight discoloration due to age, which darkens at edges of page. Centerfold mark is light with a closed tear at bottom. There are two additional closed tears and four small chips along edges. Very nice image hand colored in rose, pale pink, green, and yellow. Elaborate engraved detail includes county and city detail and five vignettes. Vignettes depict Fort Monroe, General Post Office, Treasury Building, and Unoversity of Virginia. Image measures 17 x 23 in (h x w) , including decorative border. Will ship displayed on foam, wrapped in acetate. 17 x 23.
