Third impression (first was 1957). A first hand account of the ambush and killing of five missionaries who were the first to penetrate the land of the Auca Indians in Ecuador. Written in collaboration with the four other Missionary wives, and the meticulous and revealing diaries and tapes of the missionaries themselves.
