Gilt title and black decoration on blue cloth boards which are clean and unmarked with light fading to spine and just a touch of wear to corner tips. Internally there is a mark to the margins of two pages not affecting the text, a crease to one page else clean, tight and unmarked. 304 pages. Not dated but probably 1925 per the British Library. It was the writer's privilege to be present at a series of readings on the Book of Leviticus during the years 1921-1922, and the substance of what came out in those readings, after free revision in view of publication, is contained here.
