Description: London, Thomas Nelson. Cloth, 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Gilt title blocks with gilt sailing ship pictorial to spine and boy on horse pictorial to front on green cloth boards. Boards are clean with just a few minor marks to front and back and no wear. Internally there is a coloured decorative prize bookplate and light foxing to closed edges else clean, tight and unmarked. 317 pages with 5 coloured plates by various illustrators and coloured illustrated extra title page. Not dated but circa 1900's. First published in 1876. Uniform with the Kingston Library series. A children's adventure story featuring a sailing journey, mutinous threats, shipwreck, capture by Arabs and many escapes from danger. A1C. Very Good/No Jacket.
