The novel centres on how Peter Endicott took part in the Duke of Monmouth's Rebellion and in the disastrous fight against the King's troops on Sedgemoor. The author (1859-1934) was a Victorian historical fiction author and father of the British American writer and artist Clare Leighton (1899-1989). A SCARCE TITLE A1C. Good/No Jacket.
