Dark and light greeen pictorials of boy with book to front, girl with book to back and books on table to spine on green cloth boards which are clean and unmarked with only a touch of wear to spine head and tail. Pictorials are particularly bright. Internally there is a decorative prize bookplate to front pastedown and some foxing to some pages else clean and unmarked. Not dated but British Library has two editions, 1902 and 1908. The author is Evelyn Everett-Greene a popular and prolific Victorian novelist whose theme was always moral. A1C. Very Good/No Jacket.
