Hammond meets an English teacher, Armitage, there and when the Ministry for the Suppression of Vice and the Encouragement of Virtue orders the circumcision of all expatriates, Hammond and Armitages's troubles are just beginning, then they are caught in flagrante by Abdul Wahhab Higgins, Jesuit turned Muslim zealot, can they escape the lash?
