Description: London, T. Fisher Unwin. 1915, First Edition. Hard Cover, 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Gilt title and decoration on red cloth boards. Fading to spine, a little wear to head and tail, gilt very bright, a few marks to boards and very light bumping to corners. Internally clean and unmarked. Overall a Good clean copy of a SCARCE FIRST EDITION in book form. Le Breton's ( pseudonym of M. Harte Potts and T. Murray Ford) 'A Sister' was introduced to music hall audiences in 1912, as a one act play, by the famous pantomime dame Fred Emney, who played the inebriate character Mrs. May assisted by the character actress Sydney Fairbrother. This was recorded on a long playing record in 1912 by HMV. B2A. Good/No Jacket.
