Description: Delf ( Delft ) , by Aelbrecht Hendricxz. 1584, small in-4°, 19,5 x 14,5 cm, (14) nn pp (title with woodengraved vignet) , signatures A-C4 D2. ( complete). Bound in later ( 18th c.) half vellum, with boards covered with marbled paper. Fine copy . The only provenance indication is a pencil note on the first paste down : '' koopdag Lion 5 sept. (1?)85 - 1 f. Victor '' ( This could also be note as a price indication by the actual owner at that time). Of the author is known that he began the text in Kampen and ended it in Delft. Nice copy of the first original edition. .
