He writes about the casualties and deaths around him, and finally about his own injuries. Frontispiece is (supposedly) a b./w. photograph of one of the letters. Foreword by John Lane who explains how the manuscript came to his office. 196 pages. No d./w. Very good condition, no inscription but endpages slightly foxed, edges of cover are a little worn & corners a bit bumped. 7.75" x 5.25 1918
