Soft Cover, Very Good/Wraps, very Good, A more unusual souvenir from the Century of Progress 1933 World's Fair, this beautiful booklet issued by Karastan is a treasure. It measures approximately 6"x10" and features a purple and white cover with a soft painting of a Middle Eastern bazaar on the front. Inside, each page is graced by a small color artwork at the bottom corner featuring some aspect of desert life. The focus, however, is on rugs so the main art (large) shows a split page full color look at the original rug and its Karasta reproduction. There is also background on the rugs in general, as well as Karastan's approach to them. Unpaginated, but we counted 14. Very clean condition with two small stains at white back.
