Of interest is a promotional piece entitled "The Iron Horse Drinks at 80", referring to an under-the-roadbed reservoir capable of delivering 500 gallons of water per second while the steam engine is moving at high speed. This being just before the advent of the diesel, one might wonder how widespread this system became. Top of covers seem a little dulled from, perhaps, damp exposure. Paper is lightly toned.
