Golden CO:, Colorado Railroad Museum,, 1963 to 2000., First Edition, Hardcover. A complete run of this wonderful railroad periodical. First published in 1963 as a 16 page pamphlet collection of short articles on Colorado railroad history, this has grown into elaborately illustrated, beautifully produced hardback volumes with the same focus; but with much more lengthy and thorough articles. Although it carries the term 'Annual', that is not quite so. From 1963 through 1970, these were paperbound quartos published yearly, growing in size to 131 pages. In 1969, the first seven issues were collected into a hardbound 'Volume 1'. After the paperbound 1970 issue, denominated 'No. 8', the publication became hardbound and dustjacketed with number nine in 1971. Sporadically missing a year or two, the publication continues. This set includes all eight of the paperbound issues, the collection of the first seven in a hardbound volume without a dustjacket, and each of the numbered hardbound volumes in dustjackets #9 through #24 published in 2000. The condition is uniformly near fine or fine with all dustjackets very good or better (one with a three inch tear at a rear spine fold, but others undamaged but for some rubbing and perhaps some extremity wear).
