Chicago:, The Great Divide Publishing Co.,, 1894., First Edition, Hardcover. Oblong folio, about 14 inches wide, in white faux leather stamped in silver, beveled boards. Unpaginated, but 34 full page photographs. A rather nicely produced example of promotional material for the western tourist trade. Jackson's pictures are wonderful and this volume includes several deservedly famous shots from the Rockies, and, oddly, Luna Park at Niagara Falls. The photographs are indexed at the rear with notes as to which railroad accesses these points of view. Inside is clean, bright and sound. The covers are a bit soiled and rubbed, modest corner wear. All in all, a much better copy than usual. Very Good+. Offered for US$ 222.20 by: The Gallagher Collection - Book number: 12055 See more books from our catalog: Western Americana | |||
