Jeanniot. Attractive early leather bindings of half brown morocco. Spines with raised bands, each with gilt decorative line. Compartments with gilt lettering, ruling and decorations. Marbled paper on boards. Top edges gilt. Marbled paper on boards and endpapers. Rubbing and bumping to the edges and corners of the bindings but still overall a nice set that shows well. Neat previous owner name, date (Oct. 1898) and address written in four lines to each of the front blank endpapers. Overall a clean set in attractive late nineteenth century bindings.
