Dark blue crushed morocco corner and central inserts to both boards with elaborate gilt decorations. Inner Dentelles fully decorated in gilt, surrounding White Moire silk centre pieces. Silk endpapers. All edges gilt. A truly stunning copy. With a neat ink inscription to Benjamin L Bathurst (2nd Viscount Bledisoe. 1899 - 1979) from his Father, for coming First in Mathematics in his form at Eton on the front blank endpaper.
