In the rare publishers delux binding of red suede, with yapp edges. Front board with gilt illustration and lettering. The spine is lettered in gilt and both boards have a blind ruled border. Illustrated endpapers. All edges gilt. Previous owners school prize label, dated 1918, mounted onto the front paste down endpaper. The book is a little loose in the binding and the edges of the suede are a little rubbed but overall this is a very good copy in this scarce and fragile binding variant.
