Description: Dickinson and Son. London. 1842. FIRST, AND ONLY, EDITION. Oblong 8vo. (8.8 x 5.6 inches). Title, 2pp text, 12 full page tinted litho satirical plates illustrating "complaints" of the behaviour of children or parents, each with a leaf of humorous text opposite. The Plates with a little foxing but generally a very bright copy. Publishers brown cloth boards with gilt title to the front. Re-cased (not recently) with a replacement red cloth spine. Corners a bit bumped and rubbed but overall a very good copy of this scarce title. A search of Copac lists just four copies. The pre 1965 NUC gives the author as Miss Keats.
