Apart from some offsetting to the blank free endpapers, this is a very good, clean and bright copy with a small neat previous owners name on front free endpaper. Publishers original red cloth with blind stamped lettering to front board, within a blind ruled border, and gilt lettering and ruling to spine. The Spine lettering is dulled a bit and the cloth is just a little faded. There are a couple of small white spots to the cloth on the front board, but overall this is a very good clean copy. ---- This important translation, apart from being the first English edition, also contains new text written by Einstein specially for this edition; Appendix III, The Experimental Confirmation of the General Theory of Relativity.
