There is some offsetting to the blank endpapers and the front inner hinge is cracked, but still holding firm, otherwise this is a very good fresh copy throughout. Publishers original red cloth with blind stamped lettering to front board, within a blind ruled border, and gilt lettering and ruling to spine. Spine lettering is dulled and the spine cloth is faded but overall a very good copy. ------ This important translation, apart from being the first English edition, also contains new text written by Einstein specially for this edition; Appendix III, The Experimental Confirmation of the General Theory of Relativity.
