A neat three word inscription to the blank front free endpaper otherwise a bright clean copy throughout, finely bound in late nineteenth century full vellum binding by Giulio Giannini of Florence, with their printed label to a front endpaper and gilt stamped signature on the rear board. Spine with hand painted lettering an gilt tooled design, with red and green painted areas. Elaborate gilt floral design to the front board, with purple, red and green hand painted areas. Decorative green, fawn and blue patterned paper endpapers. A lovely copy in a beautiful early fine hand painted Victorian binding.
