Late 19th century fine leather bindings, by Sangorski and sutcliffe, of full burgundy calf. Spines with five raised bands, each with gilt piping. Compartments double ruled, lettered and decorated in gilt. Gilt double ruled border on both boards with floral corner pieces. Gilt inner dentelles. Marbled endpapers. Previous owner's colour printed bookplate on front pastedowns. Top edges gilt. Housed in a felt lined slip case, covered in burgundy cloth. The spines are a little faded otherwise these are a fine pair. Ma.
