Description: London: Printed by R. Brown, 1819. First edition, 12mo, [71], 72-368pp., 5 numbered plates, closed tear half way across f2, some minimal worming (mostly single wormholes) in lower blank margins, but not affecting the text, lxx, cont. mottled sheep, joints cracked, slightly rubbed, small piece missing from head of spine, hinges cracked. Lanphier was also the author of "An outline of the System of Education adopted at the School of Upper Sunbury, in Middlesex.", 1816, with a later edition in 1821. Not recorded by JISC or OCLC.
