Provenance: Two inscriptions to front fly-leaf "Richard Hooper, Upton Vicarage, Berks, 1874. (one of my Grandfather's books)" and "Charles Whitehead Esq. with the Revd. R. Hooper's kind regards, Xmas 1880", neat ownership signature in ink of Richard Hooper (the Grandfather) to head of title; latterly from the Royal Agriculture Society Library.
